As I reflect on the journey that I am about to embark on, I came across this quote from a colleage of mine at Servus...."The experiences you create are the moments that define you"
How true...although the purpose of this program is to provide assistance to developing Credit Unions and to support the international credit union system, I believe this program will give me a whole new perspective on the world that we live in and how each of us have a responsibility to ensure that we leave it a better place than when started. When I spoke with past coaches, they all spoke about how much the experience changed them and remained with them long after they returned to Canada.
In less than one week until I begin one of the greatest experiences in my credit union career! Can't wait to get started!!
Have a great trip Stewart! I am sure it will be a lifetime memory for you. Glad you and Jane were able to meet up. She is a wonderful person and we are really lucky to have her in our office. I know she enjoyed your family too. Sorry Ray and I could not make it but I had confidence that you all would meet and do well together
